What languages does Dictalogic support?

Supported languages

Dictalogic’s speech recognition is powered by Microsoft Azure Cognitive Speech Services, which supports a wide range of languages. Supported languages include English (UK and US), French, German, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and many others. The full list of supported languages may be updated as the Azure engine expands its capabilities.

Selecting your language

Your preferred dictation language can be selected within your account profile or preferences. This setting determines which language model the AI engine uses when processing your dictations. Always ensure the correct language is selected before dictating, as an incorrect language selection will significantly reduce accuracy.

Multilingual organisations

For organisations with users who dictate in multiple languages, individual users can each configure their own language preference independently. Each dictation is processed using the language model selected by the relevant user.

Arabic support
