Yes, past recordings can be transcribed
Conversation to Text is not limited to new recordings. You can upload and transcribe any existing audio or video recording, regardless of when it was made, provided it is in a supported file format and the audio quality is sufficient for transcription.
How to submit a past recording
Log in to your Dictalogic account and navigate to the Conversation to Text module. Select the option to upload a new recording. Choose the file from your device this could be a recording from Zoom, Teams, a voice recorder, a smartphone, or any other source. Configure the transcription settings (language, number of speakers) and submit. The system will process the recording and return a transcript in the same way as any new recording.
Zoom and Teams archive recordings
If your organisation uses the Zoom or Microsoft Teams integration, past cloud recordings that are still available within your Zoom or Teams account may be accessible for submission directly through the integration, depending on your configuration. Contact Dictalogic support for guidance on accessing archived recordings through the integration.
File size and length limits
Very long recordings may take longer to process.
