Yes, transcripts are fully editable
Once the Conversation to Text engine has generated a transcript, it is available within the Dictalogic platform for review and editing. You are not limited to the raw AI output the transcript is a working document that you can correct and refine before sharing or exporting.
What you can edit
You can correct transcription errors words or phrases that were misrecognised by the engine. You can also assign correct speaker names to replace generic labels such as “Speaker 1” and “Speaker 2”. You can reformat text, adjust punctuation, remove irrelevant content such as verbal filler words (“um”, “er”), and make any other edits required to produce a clean, accurate record of the conversation.
Editing speaker labels
If speaker identification was not available or did not produce correct results, you can manually assign speaker names within the transcript editor. Once you assign a name to a speaker label, the system applies that name to all segments attributed to that speaker throughout the transcript, saving you from having to correct each occurrence individually.
Saving and finalising
Once you are satisfied with the edited transcript, save and mark it as complete within the platform. The finalised transcript is then available for sharing or export.
