Check your speaker or headphone volume
Ensure the volume on your computer or device is turned up and not muted. Check that your speakers or headphones are properly connected. Test audio playback outside of Dictalogic (for example, play a video in your browser) to confirm the issue is specific to Dictalogic.
Check the in app volume
Within the Dictalogic audio player, ensure the playback volume is not set to zero. Look for a volume slider or control within the player interface and adjust it.
Check audio output device
In your Windows Sound settings, ensure the correct playback device (speaker or headphone) is selected as the default output. If you have recently connected or disconnected audio devices, Windows may have switched to a different output device.
Browser Permissions
If using the Dictalogic web portal, ensure your browser has not blocked audio permissions for the site. Check your browser’s site permissions settings.
Try a different browser
If playback is not working in your current browser, try accessing the Dictalogic portal in a different supported browser (such as Chrome or Edge).
Contact support
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact Dictalogic support with details of your operating system, browser, and the specific behaviour you are experiencing.
