How do I set up automatic transcription?

This article explains how to configure Dictalogic to automatically transcribe dictations using the AI Custom Speech engine.

Enabling automatic transcription

Automatic transcription (Custom Speech / Audio to Text) can be configured so that dictations are automatically submitted to the AI engine as soon as they are submitted by the author, without the need to manually select the transcription method each time.

This is achieved through assignment rules. Configure an assignment rule that routes dictations for the relevant authors, work types, or departments to the Custom Speech (AI transcription) option rather than to a human secretary.

User level default

Individual users may also be able to set Custom Speech as their default assignment method within their personal account settings. Contact your administrator to confirm whether this option is available for your account configuration.
