Overview

Authors can assign a dictation directly back to themselves instead of sending it to a transcriptionist. For example: When the secretary is on holiday and the author needs to have a dictation transcribed, the “Self Assignment” option can come in handy.

What to do

To save a dictation as “Self Assignment” the author simply needs to check the option being shown at the bottom of “Edit Dictation” form.
