This article explains how to import existing audio recordings into the Dictalogic platform.

Uploading individual recordings

Individual audio recordings can be uploaded directly through the Dictalogic web portal. Log in and navigate to the relevant module. Audio to Text for single speaker recordings, or Conversation to Text for multi-speaker recordings. Select the upload option, choose your file, configure the transcription settings, and submit.

Bulk Import

For organisations migrating a large volume of existing recordings, bulk import options may be available. Contact Dictalogic support to discuss your volume and format requirements and to receive guidance on the bulk upload process.

Supported Formats

MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, AAC, DS2 and DSS.

Metadata and organisation

When importing historical recordings, consider how they will be organised and labelled within Dictalogic, for example, by work type, author, or date. Discuss this with the Dictalogic team during your migration planning to ensure the imported data is structured in a way that is useful.
