Why isn’t my dictation syncing between devices?

This article explains why dictations may not be syncing across devices and how to resolve it.

Check your internet connection
Syncing requires an active internet connection on all devices. Ensure both the device you recorded on and the device you are trying to access the dictation from are connected to the internet.
Check for pending uploads
On the device where the dictation was recorded, check whether the dictation is still showing as pending upload particularly if you were in offline mode when it was recorded. If a pending upload is shown, ensure the device has an active internet connection and wait for the sync to complete.
Force a sync
On the mobile app, try manually refreshing your dictation list by pulling down on the list screen to trigger a sync. On the web portal, refresh the page.
Check the Status
Log in to the Dictalogic portal and check the status of the dictation on your dashboard. If it shows as With Author, it should be visible on any device when logged in with the same credentials.
Check your login
Ensure you are logged in with the same Dictalogic account on all devices. Dictations are associated with your user account and will not be visible if you are logged in with different credentials.

If dictations are consistently failing to sync, contact Dictalogic support with details of the devices and operating systems involved.
