How do I reset a user’s password?

This article explains how to reset a Dictalogic user’s password.

Applies to

Administrators, All Users

Self service password reset

If you have forgotten your own password, click the Forgot Password link on the Dictalogic login page.

Administrator password reset

If a user is unable to reset their own password for example, if they no longer have access to the email address on their account an administrator can reset the password on their behalf. Log in with administrator credentials, navigate to the user management section, locate the relevant user, and select the Reset Password option. A password reset link will be sent to the user’s registered email address.

SSO users

If your organisation uses Single Sign-On via Office 365, passwords are managed within your Microsoft 365 environment rather than directly within Dictalogic. Password resets for SSO users should be handled through your organisation’s IT helpdesk or Microsoft 365 administrator.
