Conversation to Text can automatically diarize a recording detect and separate different speakers without any prior information about who is speaking. Speakers will be labelled generically as Speaker 1, Speaker 2, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Providing speaker information improves results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While not required, providing the expected number of speakers when submitting a recording helps the diarization engine perform more accurately. If you know how many people participated in the conversation, entering this number in the submission settings is recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Named identification requires voice profiles<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want the system to automatically label speakers by name rather than generic labels, voice profiles must be set up in advance for the relevant individuals.
