If the connection drops during an active dictation session, transcription will stop. Any text that was successfully transcribed and inserted into your application before the connection dropped will be retained. Words spoken during the outage will not be captured or recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reconnecting<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your internet connection is restored, you can resume dictating normally by pressing the record button again. The widget should reconnect automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preventing data loss<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To minimise the impact of connectivity interruptions, it is recommended to dictate in shorter bursts and review transcribed text regularly rather than dictating long passages without reviewing. Save your document frequently.
