Try a different USB port if available. For 3.5mm microphones, ensure the connector is fully inserted into the correct audio input socket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Check windows sound settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the Windows Sound settings (right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sounds or Open Sound Settings). Navigate to the Recording or Input tab and confirm your microphone is listed and set as the default recording device. Check the input level meter; it should respond when you speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Check microphone permissions in your browser<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If using the Dictalogic web portal, your browser must have permission to access the microphone.
