How to add another audio chunk in an existing dictation?

Overview

Further dictations can be created within the files that have previously been transcribed. There can be multiple audio chunks in a single dictation container.

What to do

This is how the dictation container will look like prior to recording an additional audio chunk, only the original transcription is currently being shown in the “Text Editor”.

1. Press the “Dictate” button under actions to start recording another chunk.

Make sure that the dictation file is on the author’s dashboard to be able to further dictate into it.

2. Create a dictation and press “Save” once you are done.

3. The conversion will take place and the dictation will be saved. By clicking on the dictation row, we can go into the dictation container.

4. Within the dictation container, you will now see another audio recording, along with the transcribed text which came from the new recording.
