How to create departments?

Overview

In Dictalogic, dictations can be assigned to a named person i.e. transcriber or a secretary, however, occasionally authors/fee earners may want to assign dictations to “Multiple Secretaries/Transcribers” or a “Queue” or a department where multiple secretaries are added.

Dictalogic support this use case and provide the ability to create department/queue where single or multiple transcriber/secretaries are added as per the company’s dictation assignment layout.

The dictation when assigned to a queue/department would be broadcast to all secretaries subscribed to that department.

What to do

Click on the Company tab -> Department tab and then click on the “Add” button to enter queue/department name. Once queue/department is created, simply click on the “Users” button to add secretaries by selecting the checkbox against their names.
